Indications:
PolyMem® Silicone Border Dressings are indicated for dry to moderately exuding full and partial thickness painful wounds including, but not limited to:
Acute wounds:
- Abrasions
- Bruising
- First and second-degree burns
- Skin tears
- Surgical wounds
- Trauma wounds
Chronic wounds:
- Diabetic foot ulcers
- Fungating wounds
- Leg ulcers
- Pressure ulcers (stages I–IV)
Specialist wounds:
- Dermatological disorders (e.g. epidermolysis bullosa)
- Donor and graft sites
- Exposed tendons
- Radiotherapy-induced skin damage
