Lance Blood Glucose Test Trainer

The Lance Blood Glucose Test Trainer is a simulated finger stick and blood glucose training device. It enables students and patients to experience realistic blood sugar testing using a glucose meter and obtaining a reading.

Lance fits over the finger of a standardized patient or manikin. It ships without fluid in the fingers but includes a simulated blood kit comprising 8 ml of simulated blood and a 5 ml syringe with a 20G industrial needle. Note that the simulated blood will not register on actual blood glucose meters.

Users can lance the fingertip, obtain a simulated blood sample, and proceed in the simulation with either a simulated blood glucose machine (not included) or an instructor-provided simulated blood glucose level.
